Scarlett's debut album 'Anywhere I Lay My Head' went on sale to the public on May 20th. The album features covers of alternative troubadour Tom Waits's music, plus one original composition. Johansson was joined in the studio by David Bowie, who lends guest vocals on "Falling Down" and "Fannin Street." Produced by TV on the Radio's David Sitek, the album marks the actress's recording debut. And Sitek does double duty. An eBay bidder, from the UK, recently shelled out $40,100 for a dream date with Scarlett Johansson. The bidding started at a measley dollar, but quickly skyrocketed to thousands. He and a guest will her guests at the premiere of her new film 'He's Just Not That Into You', which comes out in July.

There is speculation as to just how dreamy a date will be. But let's face it, if you bring a guest to a date are probably not expecting much anyway… right?

The cash will benefit Oxfam America, which is committed to finding solutions for hunger, global poverty and social injustice. Way to go, Scarlett!

Scarlett Johansson is getting married! Yep, Ryan Reynolds popped the question and gave her a rock to show how much he cares. Wow! That's one giant gem, I want one that size. No clue when the wedding will be but when I find out you'll be sure to know.

The pair began dating about 13-months ago and have been getting closer as months passed, it was only natural for him to ask her. This will be their first marriage as neither couple have been married. Ryan was almost married after a very long relationship with singer, Alanis Morrissette, but they split before the wedding. Hopefully this couple will make it to the alter, I hear she's already looking at wedding dresses.

And she plans to sue the magazine who ran the false story! According to OK! magazine, Scarlett Johansson contacted them to clear the tabloid reports that she has had plastic surgery on her nose. The statuesque actress' rep tells OK!, "US Weekly's cover story regarding Scarlett Johansson and its clear implication that she has had plastic or cosmetic surgery on her nose is an outrageous and defamatory fabrication lacking any conceivable basis or proof, despite vehement denials by Ms. Johansson prior to publication." If you haven't seen US Weekly's cover article, they showed two pictures (then and now) of ScarJo, and truth be said, her nose really looked different in the two photos.

Her rep explains: "...using two cover photos of Scarlett that were taken years apart with obviously different make-up and lighting, and then relying on an "expert's opinion" (based solely on looking at the two photos) on what "might" have been done. It wasn't." As for Scarlett Johansson's OWN statement about this nose job brouhaha, here it is: "I have always been straightforward with the press regarding my body image and I am very concerned that my fans (and perhaps even my employers) will feel misled. Thus, I feel compelled to take immediate legal action against US Weekly."

Not with her looks, her figure, but with her gorgeous piece of ass! If you have seen Lost in Translation, Scarlett Johansson's cool film last 2004, you would have noticed that her bum appears in the opening sequence of the movie. And if you loved her bum shot, you got to thank the film's artistic director. According to Scarlett Johansson, she personally talked to the man in charge of the slow, lingering sequence panning over her semi-transparent knickers, to make her ass look pretty - or he would lose his job. Yikes! The steps these celebrities do just to insure they'd look good all the time, hehe! Scarlett Johansson apparently said to the artistic director, "I told the director of photography that if he made my arse look bad he'd never work again! He was like, 'I promise you - it will look really nice.' I said, 'OK, I'm trusting you,' and he came through. My arse looked OK." And we're all thankful for it, LOL!

We all know that the beautiful Scarlett Johansson is hooked to the right hip of actor boyfriend Ryan Reynolds. Or is it the other way around? After all, he was the one who went all the way to Barcelona when the actress was filming her third movie with Woody Allen there. Anyhoo, rumors were rampant that Scarlett Johansson is still not over ex-boyfriend Black Dahlia co-star Josh Hartnett. Why? Coz she just bought a portrait of music legend Chet Baker, who Josh will play in a new film called "The Prince of Cool". Coincidence or what?? NOT! Coz ScarJo even had a tough time looking for that particular painting. And her hard work paid off coz she was able to track down the William Claxton photograph of the late trumpeter to the Los Angeles art-space Morrison Hotel Gallery -- and bought it there. A source said: "Scarlett Johansson knew exactly what she wanted and explained she had been looking for the print for some time." Hmm, I wonder how Ryan Reynolds will react to this bit of news..

Things are going fast in the six month old relationship of Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynold. Recently, the statuesque actress met Ryan's family on a recent trip to Canada, and now rumors are buzzing that the couple is going to take their relationship to the next level by moving in together. Only after six months?! Are they sure?? Lol! According to reports, Scarlett Johansson is remodeling the new home she just bought in Los Feliz (a district in Los Angeles) and Ryan has been supervising the remodeling project, giving out orders and adding his personal touches to the décor. A source of InTouch mag says that "He likes her a lot and they are ready to move in together." As mentioned, Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds has just been together for only six months but the source reveals that despite that very short time of knowing each other, they are "totally smitten and love spending every minute together." Well, good luck guys! Hope to see you in the altar.. or not! Lol!

Parties are a dime a dozen in Hollywood. Some have altruistic reasons for having a party; some are just for fun. Elle magazine’s 14th Annual Women in Hollywood party belongs in the former. Their aim is to annually honor women who made a mark in the film industry. The statuesque Scarlett Johansson was one of the seven actresses honored at the said party held at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills Hotel last Monday. Diane Lane, Amy Adams, Jennifer Connelly, Kate Bosworth, director Julie Taymor and Lauren Bacall were the other six actresses honored. Lauren Bacall, the eldest honoree at 82 years old, told the media: “It’s great that the focus is on women, who are functioning, who are all working, who are productive. I’ve always been in favor of that, and I’ve always known that women are capable of going as high as they want to go.” By the way, Scarlett Johansson is the November 2007 cover girl for Elle, so if you’re a true-blue ScarJo fanatic, grab your own copy now! =)

But not in real life, thank God! Lol! Scarlett Johansson is so far doing great with Ryan Reynolds whom she recently visited in Austin. And she has no reason to be another man’s “other woman” even though there’d be a lot of guys willing to take her up. Hehe! Anyway I’m talking about the upcoming movie of Scarlett Johansson, The Other Boleyn Girl, where she plays Mary Boleyn. If you’re familiar with European history, you’d know about the sisters Anne and Mary Boleyn. Anne (played by Natalie Portman) married King Henry VIII (played by Eric Bana), and was subsequently beheaded. Mary, on the other hand, also loved the king but suffered a better fate than her sister. The movie’s first poster was just released and the three main characters all looked so beautiful! Their period costumes all looked grand, and I hope it will be the same in the movie itself. Can’t wait!

To be honest, I'm a big fan of Scarlett Johansson coz she's got HUGE talent. And I meant her acting, not her other huge physical attributes, lol! But it seems ScarJo's got a "big" attitude too. You know, DIVA attitude. Apparently, the Lost in Translation star bared her diva fangs on the first day of shooting for her latest film, "He's Just Not That Into You", in Los Angeles.

According to US Weekly, an insider revealed that Scarlett needed to have a driver to take her a mere 100 yards to the set of the said film, while her co-star (and a bigger star) Drew Barrymore just walked. Tsk! But that's not all coz Scarlett also requested three assistants to shield her from the sun with umbrellas while she's on the set. The insider bristles, "Scarlett's a total diva. Some people are cool, and others are not." To ScarJo's credit, a production crew denied her diva behavior. The crew said, "We prefer talent use vans when filming on public streets, and Scarlett has only been professional." Oh well..
